The Episode Breakdown:
Welcome back to The Empowered CEO Show, where today we are celebrating 100 episodes!
WOW. Where do I even freakin’ begin?
Well firstly, I want to start by saying that this podcast would not be what it is today without you. By tuning in and listening to the show every single week, you make the podcast what it is, and the amount of gratitude I have for each and every one of you is off the charts. I can’t even begin to explain it.
I first started this podcast because I wanted somewhere that I could talk people’s ear off and have them actually want to listen. Ask anyone who knows me – if you get me started on a topic I’m obsessed with and passionate about, I will talk my ass off for hours.
I also wanted a platform to connect with people. Before starting the podcast, I had a blog but as I went full-time in business and just kept growing, I realised I wanted an easier, simpler way to do it – because hello, that’s what I’m all about! For me, a huge part of connecting with you guys is to share my personality, and the podcast is such a great way for me to do that. It feels like I’m sitting down with one of my best friends for a cup of tea and just chatting about all my favourite sh*t.
Back when I started the podcast, I was primarily a business coach helping women who were side-hustling to quit their day jobs and go full-time in business. In my very first episode, I talked about the fact that it was only a couple of months’ difference between getting my first ever client and going full-time in business. I had so much success with that that I wanted to help other women to do it – because if I can do this, anyone can.
If you look back at the very early episodes, you’ll see that a lot of my content was around how to get out of the side-hustle mentality, what’s holding you back from quitting your job, and how to get your first clients. It was really centred around the foundational things in business to help people to go full-time, because that’s what I was helping my clients with at the time.
Over time, my passion and excitement for what I was helping my clients to achieve shifted into helping them to book more clients, earn more and have more ease – and without me even realising it, the podcast shifted with it.
Nowadays, I’m all about helping you to work less and earn more. We talk about selling, signing clients, energy, mindset, strategy, ease, flow and money. I love talking about all those things, and I love that you guys love it.
That’s been the journey until now, and I’m so excited for what’s coming after this milestone. I have some incredible guests lined up and some mind blowing solo episodes coming your way.
Here’s another juicy sneak peek of what’s to come – I’m creating a new series and I’m going to be making some big waves in the coaching industry. I won’t tell you what it is just yet, but I’m going to be breaking down the truth behind the coaching industry, what it’s like being a coach, business owner and CEO, and talking about real sh*t that we all go through and we all deal with. The highs, the lows, the celebrations, the breakdowns, the exciting financial wins, the small internal wins – we’re all going through it, no matter how much money we’re making. Get excited, because this series is going to go through all of that.
To our incredible guests on the podcast – THANK YOU.
I have so much gratitude and appreciation for every single one of you.
I love the conversations that I have with my guests. I’m very selective in the people that I bring on the podcast, because I want to make sure that we relate to each other and share the same values. I want to make sure that the women I bring on here to serve you, speak to you and give value to you are the best of the best for this show to be super valuable and super juicy.
Let’s go through our guests and their zones of genius to give them a big ol’ bit of love – and if you haven’t seen any of these episodes, now’s a really good time to check them out!
To every single one of you ladies who have shared your knowledge, wisdom and value with us – thank you and I love you all. Having each of these women on has been such an honour.
Now for some of my faves…
As we look back over 100 episodes, I want to share some of my personal favourite episodes with you guys.
- Episode 44: How I Earn 6-Figures & Work 20 Hours a Week (or Less!)
In this episode, I broke down how I set up and plan my weeks to earn multiple 6-figures whilst only working about 10-15 hours a week. If you want to work less and earn more, that episode is a great way to get started.
- Episode 52: 3 Things I Did To Have My Biggest Income Month Yet
At the time, this was my biggest month yet. There were a couple of key things that happened in my mindset and strategy, and I knew I had to share them with people because it had just made me a lot of money in a really short amount of time! This episode is a really good one if you’re wanting to go to that next level with your income.
- Episode 66: The Simplest Way to Start Having $10k Months in Your Business
This works no matter what your income goal is, whether it’s $15k, $20k, $30k or more. It’s not just for $10k months. You just take the strategy and apply it to your goal. I hate listening to my own voice but even *I’ve* listened to this one again just to soak it up. It’s the simplest way to get to your income goals and it’s a strategy that works over and over again.
- Episode 69: The 10 Best Places to Get ENDLESS Content Ideas
This is a super fun one and again, one that I revisit all the time because content is something that we have to prioritise in our business. If you’ve ever felt stuck on where to get ideas, then make sure to check out this episode.
- Episode 75: Your Crash Course to Signing High Ticket Clients
Oh my god, this one is so good. It’s one of the top episodes on the podcast, it has so many downloads. I’ve had so many messages from people saying that it seems so simple and has made it feel so much easier. If you haven’t seen this one, then enjoy!
- Episode 89: 11 High-Vibe Money Rituals to Manifest More Abundance
This is another super fun one where I share different rituals and practices that I love doing with money, when I receive money or when I spend money.
- Episode 96: My Private 1:1 Client Interviews ME!
This is one of my favourite episodes ever, ever, EVER. My gorgeous, long-term private 1:1 client Lillian, who you may have noticed was on my guest list as well, came onto the show and she actually interviewed me. We talked about the sh*t that no one is talking about and like I said, I want to bring more of that to the podcast.
We’ve reflected, we’ve looked back, we’ve reminisced.
Now I want to again say a massive thank you to every single one of you, whether you’re brand new, have been around for a couple of episodes or have been a longtime fan from the start.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means the world to me.
It has been so fun to look back at how much I have evolved and changed and grown – not just as a coach, not just as a business owner, not just as a podcast host, but also as a person. Having the podcast and being able to look back at how far I’ve come has just been really nice.
I want this to be a reminder that when you stick to something, commit to it, and dedicate your time and energy to it, it can grow into the most incredible thing.
I can’t wait to sit down in a couple of years’ time to record the 200th episode and look back again at how much I’ve evolved even more.
Thank you for tuning in to this little flashback and reflecting on the last two years and 100 episodes of the podcast with me. I love you all so much, and I can’t wait to do hundreds more!
